The most generic brass-cased, two piece unit. Cylindrical with the lid pressed and the base with a furrowed strike - I have two of these.
Thi little cylindrical vesta case, the top usually has a 'Capstain' relief lettering and the base a furough for the strike . . . this one is 925 Silver. Notice how the vesta case is almost the identical size as the throw-away carton
