I spent my first eight years at Dutton Park State School on Annerley Road, Webster's biscuit factory was across from the playground and Boggo Road Jail was next door

Sounds horrible but wide spaces and treed environs but the smell of the cooking biscuits wafted across the school rooms at times . . . who ever the graphic illustrator was, he certainly represented my lifestyle as a boy of the 1950s, thats for sure.
