Two 19thC amulets that are so abstract, pre cubism and contain protective elements so subtle I believe they work magic

The dog is a special protector for use in winter months - again the original patina remains.

The hare protects the summer abundance and store house - I've shown each amulet front and back to expose the complexity and induce thoughts of the makers rationale, no mark seems superfluous (and with nothing left out of the mix). Jewellery with the power to pull good spirits to you and push evil to the perimeter!
These were early finds from the talented Australian gem and antiquities dealer - Barry Smith who has now converted to Islam, sold all his idols and lives in the protective charm of his new family in Bali.
