This printed tin piece has a spring mounted at the back and the string should be threaded through the holed tab under the feet. You hold the figure around the knee region with the left hand and secretly pull the thread which pulls his left hand upward as an erection. From the Brisbane 'ekka' c 1910 and only unearthed a few years ago in an interesting collection found in West End, Brisbane by Michael Allen who offered it to me.
