We are designers so the back of the card is of interest as well, I only have three tintype portraits that retain their original mounts and fortunately all three have photographer's details.
Some details support further research, I know that Gove & Allen were an early studio situated at 7 Queen Street, Brisbane. The second card shows the change of name but not the Brisbane address . . . I have a much later cabinet card from the Poulsen Studio at the same address, I'll post that next.
